Straw Hunting I was hunting up and down for drinking straws during lunch break today. It was silly, I know but the water from my drinks are killing the colour of my lipcolor, which I bought a few days ago with my paycheck, of course. It's semi-permenant and could stand foods and waters for a very long time but I still feel pretty uncomfortable getting it wet too often. That thing was so hard to remove, had to buy the waterproof makeup remover which was kinda costly and tasted awful, not that I purposely tasted it. But it was essential for removing the waterproof thing. The bottle of the COLORSTAY OVERTIME® LIPCOLOR was so cute and I was using my fingertip to apply the colour on my lips instead of the brush. I'm still shy about solid colours, it's "Keep Blushing" colour anyway. It's really kinda obvious on my pale lips and if I put on the one Halle Barry had on hers in the Revlon's promo, I'm not sure how I'm gonna look like...very different, I think. Then, I finally found the drinking straws at a tiny grocery shop located in the quieter part of the building. You'll never believe this, the place looked different from the others. The grocery shop looked exactly the same as it was 10 years ago. I'm not kidding. That place was historical, my aunt and I went there a few times when I was a kid. I didn't actually remember that place but while I was there, I recalled some memories related to that place. It looked like one of those in the old Chinatown, very traditional, but pretty homely. At least they sell the things I can't find elsewhere in the building. |
