So Inspiring Ok, I admit that I have never watched American Idols shows and the last reality show I've watched was Fear Factor somewhere last year and the last pop-related reality show was Popstars, the Australian version which produced the Bardots. I also admit that I don't watch TV a lot but I did watch cartoons and Spongebobs, lol. However, I did hear about William Hung, one of the contestants of the American Idols. He got through the audition but didn't really win, but he did win a lot of fans, though. He was famous for the words "I already gave my best. I have no regrets at all." He was really funny and adorable, and he's so honest and straight-forward and natural (unlike the wannabes, watch the recaps of the American Idols on the Internet and you know who the wannabes are), man, you can never believe this. Simon Cowell stopped him while he was singing Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" and asked, “You can’t sing, you can’t dance, so what do you want me to say?” Last Wednesday, he performed at UC Berkeley’s men’s volleyball game. Then, he received a $25,000 check from the Fuse music channel and a record offer from Koch Entertainment. He even get to appear in Ellen DeGeneres Show, MSNBC, etc. Yeah, he can't get to be the next American Idol, or a popstar, yet...but he's one good role model and a SUPERSTAR. There were bands performing at their show but I could only hear sounds of people cheering. But I was so glad that my manager put me back in the graphic front, which meant that I didn't have to do the accounting stuff yesterday. |
